The Vikings closed out the NFL Draft with three additional seventh round selections. They used the picks to add two wide receivers and a long snapper.

Oregon wide receiver Dillon Mitchell led the Pac-12 in receiving during his senior season with the Ducks. He posted 75 receptions for 1,184 yards and ten touchdowns in 13 games last season. He averaged 15.8 yards per reception and tallied a whopping 130 targets in 2018. Mitchell was a vertical threat and posted 13 receptions of 20-plus yards, according to Pro Football Focus. One of the big issues with his game has been drops. He ranked 120th nationally in drop rate, per PFF’s tracking data.

Athletically, he ran a 4.46 at 6-foot-2, 189 pound and tested well in both the broad and vertical jumps. The Vikings needed to add some competition and depth to the receiver room this offseason. Mitchell had a high volume of production at Oregon, and for that reason alone, it may be worth taking a chance on him in the seventh round.

After taking Mitchell, the Vikings selected Colorado State wide receiver Olabisi Johnson. He posted 54 receptions for 796 yards and four touchdowns. He had five career 100-yard performances and put together a solid showing at the combine. Johnson tied for the sixth-best vertical (38 inches) and 20-yard shuttle (4.16) among wide receiver prospects.

With the final pick of the draft, the Vikings selected Air Force long snapper Austin Cutting with pick No. 250. He had excellent accuracy and didn't post a single bad snap last year, according to Sam Monson:
