The Vikings have announced a few key details for the team’s annual training camp.
This will be the first season the event is held at at TCO Performance Center in Eagan, Minn. after 52 years in Mankato. Due to anticipated demand, the team will be setting a daily capacity for practices. The final number will be announced soon, but is expected to be around 5,000. This figure could also increase for night practices. All tickets will be general admission and free, but fans will be asked to reserve tickets on Vikings.com.
The team intends to offer Season Ticket Members an opportunity to reserve tickets prior to the general public opening. More details regarding the maximum number of days and number of tickets are still being determined. The team also intends to provide daily autograph sessions for each position group.
The rookies will report Tuesday, July 24 and the first practice will be Wednesday, July 25. Veterans will report Friday, July 27, with the first full team practice scheduled for Saturday, July 28. The full schedule will be announced in early June.
