  1. Why does everyone have such a soft spot for Webb? To my eyes he does nothing exceptional: below average QB, and a mediocre WR at best (and there is a good chance he just plain sucks.) And, no STs ability that we have seen. So why? Why waste a roster spot on him. Yes, he is supposedly a good character guy, but I fear the coaches are blinded by his supposed athletic potetial. He has been in the league too long for not doing much of anything. Cut ties already. Say, here is an idea: give his spot to Randle. Hell, it's crazy but imagine giving the roster spot to a guy that can already play special teams, be a RB, and is also a good character guy. Instead we get Webb for another year of most likely nothing, and watching a stiff hipped, no speed RB like Banyard, or a low speed, porous blitz blocker like Asiata, do nothing all year. We saw this same thing with Reynaud and Todman (both of whom are making goods contributions to their respective teams), and we are seeing it again with Randle. I can see keeping Gerhart, but Asiata and Banyard? This team's coaches are just irritating. Take Wright as an example: Don't play him all year, then play him with great success, but only after Percy goes down - when! and here is the real kicker, all the while playing Aromashado (sp) and Jenkins!?!?! (Is it going to be the same thing with Cordarelle?) We need play makers, something Webb, Burton (for the most part - good blocker), Banyard, and Asiata are not.
